“Our Mother’s doctor said, although it may take 6 months to 1 year, he expects she will make a full recovery, be better than ever and this will probably even help with her Parkinsons Disease. The surgery to repair the spinal stenosis revealed a lot of damage to her discs which hugely compressed the nerves PLUS a fractured vertabra (with subluxation), meaning our mom had a broken neck, Most likely from tripping on stairs and a fall last March!” ~ sarah nean bruce

Regarding the problem of online impostors – there may be a light at the end of that dark social networking tunnel afterall… news agencies, including BBC’s Maggie Shiels reporting from California, announce «Facebook, Twitter imposters may be outlaws in California» **As many of you know, my friend and associate Eva La Rue (CSI: Miami) recently recorded a video message with me to try to stop the impostors** One of the precautions recommended in the BBC report is to claim your digital real estate before it becomes a problem. Eva La Rue did this with her own official website, and she even posted that personal video message we recorded on it, but that hasn’t stopped the impersonators on Facebook. Perhaps you can help report and Stop the Fake Eva La Rue profile (it’s not a fan or public profile page) http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000749783692 which Ms La Rue’s representatives, including Turk Entertainment PR, have reported and written to Facebook about, but FB continues to allow. (Twitter & Myspace remove the fake profiles on their services). Apparently the Eva La Rue impersonator has used the Facebook “chat” with her duped Facebook friends, although the impostor doesn’t post on the wall any more fake messages after numerous complaints and warnings. … read/see ~more~

QWIKPOST_Please WATCH the clever & funny YOUTUBE video of my friend’s baby BAJA DEUCE. It looks like Baby Deuce is following his motorcar aficionado Mom’s path of having a forté and aptitude for Automobiles. I think this kid is gonna be on our horizon for a long time. He certainly has an exciting road ahead of him with his gift for strategic racing coupled with comedic/dramatic timing, and a Mom who knows her way around a racetrack and a red carpet … read/see ~more~

On 23 August 2010, my Grand Cousin Phyllis Carr Bruce (my father John W. Bruce’s first cousin) turned 105 years young! She is doing quite well and still lives in her majestic home (since 1937) with her daughters, amidst a grove of beautiful trees at the foothills of an awe-inspiring volcano. When she was 99 (2004-2005), i stayed at her home and convalesced from a severe foot injury. She brought me tea, shared her sweet kitty, looked after me and watched late night television with me. i plan to attend this worthwhile event tonight in my neighborhood presented by my dear friend Suzanna Urszuly. She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside with her compassion and incredible work with saving at-risk

Long Live the (Late Night) King: Johnny Carson’s Legacy Still Strong
I am grateful to one of Johnny’s “Tonight Show” co-producers – Jim McCawley – who mentored me in the TV Hosting Biz from 1987-1989, and i was able to see the magic of the Tonight Show LIVE from behind the scenes, including watching the show with Robin Williams (from behind Camera 3) for which Jim won an Emmy. Unfortunately, Jim left us much too early when he passed away in 1997. … ~more~
