$4,000 scholarship winner: Mary Eid who wrote in our essay: Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.” My perspective on and attitude involving this matter are what gave me the will and strength to suffer, endure, and rise above cancer.
