p.o.w.~desensitizing & minimizing fears

i think i used a form of this cognitive therapy ~ Exposure & Response Prevention ~
{its inception probably introduced by my marriage/divorce counselor}
with my fears {financial, relationship, creative, social} to start desensitizing myself in 2007.
and to this day, i look these phantoms in the face,
i don’t avoid them or
run from them or
become anxious by them.

$4,000 scholarship winner: Mary Eid who wrote in our essay: Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.” My perspective on and attitude involving this matter are what gave me the will and strength to suffer, endure, and rise above cancer. If I can overcome cancer, I truly believe that I can overcome anything.
