POSITIVE STORY + IMAGE about women having curves & wisdom… goes viral ~snb

A while back, at the entrance of a gym, there was a picture of a very thin and beautiful woman. The caption was “This summer, do you want to be a mermaid or a whale?”

The story goes, a woman (of clothing size unknown) answered the following way:

“Dear people, whales are always surrounded by friends (dolphins, seals, curious humans), they are sexually active and raise their children with great tenderness.
They entertain like crazy with dolphins and eat lots of prawns. They swim all day and travel to fantastic places like Patagonia, the Barents Sea or the coral reefs of Polynesia.
They sing incredibly well and sometimes even are on cds. They are impressive and dearly loved animals, which everyone defend and admires.

Mermaids do not exist.

But if they existed, they would line up to see a psychologist because of a problem of split personality: woman or fish?
They would have no sex life and could not bear children.
Yes, they would be lovely, but lonely and sad.
And, who wants a girl that smells like fish by his side?

Without a doubt, I’d rather be a whale.

At a time when the media tells us that only thin is beautiful, I prefer to eat ice cream with my kids, to have dinner with my husband, to eat and drink and have fun with my friends.

We women, we gain weight because we accumulate so much wisdom and knowledge that there isn’t enough space in our heads, and it spreads all over our bodies.
We are not fat, we are greatly cultivated.
Every time I see my curves in the mirror, I tell myself:
“How amazing am I ?! ”

Salam Bou Mjahed (http://www.facebook.com/salam.b.mjahed) shes a whale not a model sarah isn’t she or my eyes is not ok hehe
Sarah Nean Bruce (http://www.facebook.com/sarahneanbruceDOTcom) Salam, I think the point is if a woman has a choice of being a whale or a mermaid (or a model), choosing to be a whale is so much better for many reasons. Most thin mermaid-esque models i have met or know are unhappy, unhealthy, nervous, and not confident about their appearance or themselves.
Salam Bou Mjahed (http://www.facebook.com/salam.b.mjahed) too true heath bring wealth ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Kim Pham (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000003712254) I disagree with Salam, I think Tara Lynn’s really beautiful and I’d love to see more happy and confident normal-size and plus-size models in mainstream media. I did a search of this model’s name and found this: http://jezebel.com/5505614 (French Elle’s First “Curvy” Issue Introduces Us To Tara Lynn, Capes jezebel.com) — she was on the cover of French Elle Magazine last year.
Wendy Elder (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1057022551) Always interested to hear definitions or examples of healthy..Healthy is a realitive measure based on ones age, bone structure, BMI and many more scientific lab measurements. Extremes on either end of the weight scale are more then likely not healthy so goal should be to eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly and give your body the hours of rest it needs. That mixed with genetics should produce the results that the person who is seeking them desires..please note I said the person who is seeking them not the desires of others. Would I go to that gym, probably not since they are using negative advertising which would lead me to believe that they are not encouraging to the people who need their services the most.
