uni-tasking via the slow internet movement (thoughts on tiny buddha article)
i think i really like this “movement” i read about in today’s tiny buddha article… especially the part about stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system.
i’ve been slowing down for the past few years {especially after my foot/leg injury 2004/2005}
~ plus balancing work/career with art/play ~ and it’s helped improve my life immensely.
amazingly, the overall effect makes me feel like i am accomplishing more {mind~body~soul}
by living more balanced and not pushing so hard ~sb

These mediation pieces are an attempt to clear your mind by grabbing your attention. I hope they act as a conduit from our fast paced media saturated lives to an inner center where one can then sit and relax and meditate properly. – Ted Chambers

DÉJA VU_words of Chief Seattle 1854, Einstein 1950, Bohm 1980, still relevant 2010
at the end of each year, i often contemplate & write about how i see the world at this particular moment in time, where i am, where i have been and where i am going on my journey of becoming beauty and discovering beyond while living in urbia. 2010 has been an amazing year for me in so many ways – mind ~ body ~ spirit. again, i was thinking about our interconnectedness with each other and with the universe (big beyond) and with the earth (tiny beauty) and with our selves … READ MORE ~»

HEADS UP_mercury in rewind is an opportunity
“So how can we harness it? For starters, we can put this untapped celestial search engine to good use. If Mercury’s primary universal purpose is to teach us that knowledge is power, doesn’t it make sense that it only goes retrograde to remind us that ignorance is not bliss? It does to me, which is why I make a checklist of “Things-I-Absolutely-Need-To-Know” for each Mercury “rewind.” Trust me, you should too. It’s as effective as it is empowering. In fact, the next time Mercury goes retrograde, why not throw a little cosmic caution to the wind and get out from under that bed and start looking for something. Anything.” – Marguerite Manning … READ MORE …

30 November: course correction
“… The path of my life now is one that I had dreamt about, but hadn’t the courage to embark upon before. Interesting & good how the “be careful what you (dream) wish for” comes about. I hoped for a change in my tumultuous & topsy-turvy personal life in 2004 – even tho my showbiz career was booming – and the universe obliged me. The disabling and painful foot/leg injury allowed me to slow down, evaluate, contemplate, reinvigorate and redirect myself personally and professionally. Now I am calmer – braver – happier to do what I want personally, professionally, spiritually” … SEE/READ MORE…

PS-family eJournal of our Mother’s Spinal Surgery and Recovery (via various social network media tools)
“Our Mother’s doctor said, although it may take 6 months to 1 year, he expects she will make a full recovery, be better than ever and this will probably even help with her Parkinsons Disease. The surgery to repair the spinal stenosis revealed a lot of damage to her discs which hugely compressed the nerves PLUS a fractured vertabra (with subluxation), meaning our mom had a broken neck, Most likely from tripping on stairs and a fall last March!” ~ sarah nean bruce

3D QC_Artistic Integrity-Warner Scrubs Potter 3D (for now)
Potter 3D scrubbed by Warner Brothers and I say “Bravo” & “Brave.” In my opinion, a film is better released in 2D looking incredible than rushed in 3D with Quality Control issues that typically cause bad PR for Stereoscopic Cinema. After watching Warner Brothers’ “Clash” with my nephew Gabriel earlier this year, i had my doubts about 3D. I didn’t realize, until now, that Warner spent less than three months on that conversion. Perhaps, this is a brilliant Warner Brothers marketing move and they will re-release 3D Harry Potter Deathly Hallows – Part 1 later, like right before Part 2? ~ sarah nean bruce

3D_storytelling and filmmaking-my aspirations and projects
i don’t think 3D is a fad. I believe 3D cinematography can enhance certain stories and can contribute to an incredible movie-going experience ~ only if it’s done right technically. Certain stories lend themselves to color, others to black and
