Eva, her husband Joe Cappuccio, and I, developed, spearheaded and launched the National Scholarship Program with Beckstrand by personally donating and raising money to initiate the first round of scholarships in 2011. Essay Excerpt: Before cancer, I had never seen children struggle to save their lives before. I can remember the screams of the youngest kids that echoed my own inward pleas.
